Genius Software Development processes account, order and licensing data only to operate, secure and support the store and Genius Merchant Sync.

Google user data we access

When a store administrator authorizes Google Merchant services, Merchant Sync accesses the selected Merchant Center account and data-source identifiers, the product-input fields needed for synchronization (such as title, link, price, availability and category where supplied), and the sanitized product or account issue status needed to diagnose the connection. OAuth authorization metadata is used to bind that connection to the administering store. We request only the Google Merchant API https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content scope; we do not request Gmail, Drive, Ads, profile or unrelated Google data.

How we use Google user data

We use this data only to validate the selected Merchant Center account, create or update product inputs when the administrator starts an allowed sync, process an explicit product removal request, show sanitized status or issue information, and provide connection support. We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, generalized profiling, or training artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent or share Google user data for third-party advertising. Data is sent to Google only through the authorized Merchant API operations requested by the store administrator. We disclose data to hosting, security or support providers only when required to operate the requested service under confidentiality and access-control obligations, or when required by law, court order or to prevent abuse.

Protection and retention

OAuth tokens and other connection credentials are encrypted at rest with the application data-protection controls, transmitted over HTTPS/TLS, restricted to the store service and authorized administrators, and excluded from logs and diagnostic exports. We retain connection and synchronization records only as long as needed for the requested service, security, support and legal obligations. Disconnecting the integration stops future access and removes the stored authorization data according to the application retention and deletion workflow.
