Genius Merchant Sync: before you buy
Genius Merchant Sync connects a licensed nopCommerce store to Google Merchant services. It is a one-time purchase: the purchased version remains usable indefinitely on its licensed store, and product updates are included for 365 days from the license issue date.
What you receive
- Your customer account receives the release ZIP and a domain-bound license after paid-order fulfillment.
- One production hostname is licensed. A different subdomain is a separate website and requires its own license.
- Use My Licenses in your account to retrieve the release ZIP, view the license details and see the update entitlement date.
Setup in four clear steps
- Install: download the ZIP from My Licenses, verify its checksum from the release notes, then upload it in Admin → Configuration → Local plugins.
- Activate: open the plugin Configure page and activate the license for the exact public Store.Url. Google connection and synchronization remain blocked until this succeeds.
- Configure and connect: enter the Merchant account/data-source values, keep the first run in Dry run, then use either the Genius-managed OAuth option or your own Google OAuth client.
- Validate and sync: validate the selected Merchant account and data source before enabling a bounded manual or scheduled sync. Review the sanitized diagnostics and issue panel before turning off Dry run.
Important requirements
- A supported nopCommerce release, administrator access, public HTTPS storefront and accurate catalog data are required.
- Google Merchant eligibility, policy compliance, shipping/tax data and product approval remain the merchant’s responsibility.
- Never send a license key, Google client secret, OAuth token or password in a support request.
